preventable medical error is the 3rd leading cause of death in America - third only to heart disease and cancer. it is estimated that more than 1,000 people die every day and these medical errors cost the nation one trillion dollars every year. the question is, "how do we, the consumers, avoid becoming a statistic and curb this epidemic for future generations?"
